Cattle market on the occasion of the Holy Eid-ul-Azha, the second biggest religious festival of Muslims, will be launched in Dhaka from July 17 and will continue until July 21. Md Mozammel Haque, Chief Estate Officer of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) revealed the matter on Monday (July 12).
He said, “A total of 19 cattle markets will be set up in the capital on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha for five days, from July 17 to July 21. Of which, 10 markets including a permanent one will be set up in DNCC while 9 in DSCC.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Monday said that the government will take decision over the ongoing restrictions considering cattle traders and shop owners.
