Police rounded up three hijackers allegedly involved with the hijacking of sacrificial animal hidesfrom Mirzapol of Panchalaish thana area in city on Friday night last.
Police recovered 16 hikes from their possession. Police sources said the detained hijackers allegedly involved with the different types of terrorist activities and they identifying themselves as Chhatra League activists.
The detained identified as Saiful Islam, Imtiaz Ahmed and Md. Babul. Inspector(Investigation) of Panchalaish thana told that the detained persons forcibly snatched away 16 cattle hides from a seller while he was bringing these hides to hoarders at Hamzarbagh to sell .
The sufferer instantly placed complaint to Panchalaish thana police and a case in connection is also lodged with the police, sources said.
The detained hijackers were sent to court custody yesterday, sources said.
