Police and families of Gulshan terror attack victims are going to file separate cases soon against the detained person who will be made the prime accused in the case although no cases were filed yet in this regard.
Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) media wing told risingbd.com that a case will be filed within one or two days over the Gulshan terror attack.
We are reviewing the section in which the case will be filed, he added.
A source investigating the incident said families of two police officers killed in the terror attack will register cases in this regard.
Contacts are being made to the families of foreign nationals who were killed in the terror attack at Holey Artisan Bakery in the capital’s Gulshan on Friday night whether they will file a case or not, the source said.
Police said they will also file a case under the arms and explosive substances act in this regard.
Earlier on Friday night, a total of 28 people, including 20 foreign nationals, six attackers and two senior police officials were killed in the Gulshan restaurant attack in the city’s diplomatic zone.
