Bengal Fisheries that owned the trawler FV Bandan filed a case on Friday night at Patenga Police Station under CMP said Patenga thana OC Md Shahabuddin.
The company held a ship responsible for the accident , which took place near the St Martin’s Island at Cox’s Bazar.
At least 29 crew and fishermen on FV Bandhan went down with the trawler at Point 11 of the Bay of Bengal early on Friday.
