A case has been lodged accusing Irad Ahmed Siddique, son of former standing committee member of BNP Tanvir Ahmed Siddique, on Thursday for giving life threat against prime minister.
Adv Rafikul Islam Khokon, a Jubo League leader, as complainant lodged the case under ICT act with chief metropolitan magistrate court of Barisal.
Ali Hussain, the CMM of Barisal, accepting the case ordered the officer in charge of Barisal Kotwali police station to register the case and start investigation, court sources said.
Shah Md. Awlad Hossain, officer in charge of Barisal Kotwali police station, said after receiving the order of the court he will act according to law.
