A case has been filed with Jalalabad Police Station Saturday’s accident on accident on Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) campus that left two dead.
Farhana Choudhury Rumi, wife of one of the victims Ataur Rahman, filed the case against prof Ariful Islam, head of Mechanical Engineering Department of SUST, at 10pm on Sunday.
However, SUST students yesterday formed a human chain and brought out a procession on the campus demanding compensation for the victims’ families and punishment to the accused teacher.
Source said, several hundred students formed the human chain in front of the Central Library Building at 12:30pm. Later, they brought out a procession which paraded the campus before terminating at the same place.
