Case filed over expat murder in B’baria

A case was filed against 34 people, making Talshahar Union Parishad Chairman as the prime accused, over murder of a Malaysia expatriate in Austogram of Sadar upazila.
Deceased’s mother Habiba Begum filed the case with Sadar Police Station.
According to case statement, there was a quarrel between the families of Talshahar (east) union parishad chairman Enamul Haque Osman and Omar of the village over a trifling matter.
Following the dispute, the family members of Osman allegedly beat Obaidullah mercilessly on his way to a tea stall
on Friday, leaving him dead on the spot.
Md Nobir Hossian, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said two accused have already been arrested. Operation is going on to arrest the others.
