A case has been filed in connection with the death of a woman and her three children in the city’s Turag area.
Shamsul Haque, father of Rehena Parvin, filed the case against some unidentified people with Turag Police Station on Friday night, said assistant
sub-inspector of the police station Ibrahim Khalil.
Rehena, 34, wife of Mostafa Kamal and her three children-Shanta, 13, Arshi alias Arifa, 9, and 11-month-old son Saad were found dead at a house at Ranabhola Batala in the city’s Turag area early Friday.
The mother was found hanging from the ceiling fan of the house while the three children lying on a bed in another room. Police said Rehena might have strangled her three children and then killed herself.
