A case was filed over the crude bomb attack at an election rally of BNP candidate of Rajshahi City Corporation election on Tuesday.
Sub-Inspector Shamim of Boalia Police Station filed the case accusing 8/10 unidentified people under Explosive Substance Act on Tuesday night, said Aman Ullah, officer-in-charge of the police station.
Earlier on Tuesday morning, at least five people including a journalist were injured in a crude bomb attack at an election rally.
Several masked miscreants riding on a motorcycle hurled three crude bombs on the rally, leaving them injured, witnesses said.
