A young man named Nazim Ahmed was stabbed to death in front of the emergency gate of MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital in Sylhet on Saturday (April 9). The murder took place on the road in front of Osmani Medical due to a quarrel with a senior junior.
Kotwali police arrested Jewel Ahmed, son of Mir Kashem of Munsipara area of Sylhet city on suspicion of involvement in the murder.
On Sunday afternoon, April 10, Jewel was produced before the court and asked for a seven-day remand, but the court granted him a five-day remand.
Meanwhile, Nazim’s father Nur Mia filed a case with Kotwali police station on Sunday afternoon over the murder of his son. 10 people have been accused in the case statement.
