The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday approved a case to be filed against four persons, including three officials of Pubali Bank Limited, finding the evidence of misappropriation amounting to Tk 10.25 lakh by them from two branches of the bank.
The authorisation was issued in a routine meeting held in the ACC head quarters at Segunbagicha, Dhaka.
ACC Public Relation Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told The New Nation that the case might be registered shortly.
They are Pubali Bank’s Begum Bazar Branch’s Manager Mohammad Nurul Islam, Nazim Uddin Road Branch’s Manager (Senior Principal Officer) Aiyub Ali, former Manager M Hasan Ali and one Nasir Uddin.
The alleged accused in collaboration with one another plundered the said amount from the two branches.
