The 7th Gulshan Youth Club (GYC) Sports Carnival was held at the GYC ground recently. Sponsored by M&J Group the GYC organised the carnival.
Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Information Affairs Rahmatullah MP, former chief election commissioner and President of Gulshan Society Shamsul Huda, former advisor to the Caretaker government and former secretary Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury, Capt Shahabuddin Ahmed Bir Uttam, President of GYC Rafez Alam Chowdhury, EC members of the Club, among others, were present in the concluding day of the carnival.
In the three-week long carnival, a total of 550 contestants took part in athletics, football, cricket, basketball, tennis, roller-skating, swimming, karate, music and art competitions. n
