On the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the Carmichael College Alumni Association arranged a friends’ reunion, which was held on Friday, where a friend met another. From 9 am onwards, colorful processions, discussion meetings, reminiscences and cultural programs were organized on the campus. Later, Additional Secretary and President of Alumni Association Jahangir Alam presided over the function and Social Welfare Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed MP was the chief guest. Special guests were Justice M Enayetur Rahim of High Court, Chief Whip of the Opposition Moshiur Rahman Ranga MP, Mayor of Rangpur City Corporation Mostafizur Rahman Mostafa, Principal of Carmichael College Prof. Dr. Md. Amjad Hossain, General Secretary of the Association Rashidus Sultan Manik, Central Treasurer Advocate Ziaur Rahman, Abul Kashem and others spoke. In the second part of the program, there was an alumni rehearsal and pleasant cultural program. An ambulance was later pesented as a gift for the alumni.
