The public relation department (PRD) of Bangladesh University (BU) has organized a day long ‘Career Fair-2014’ for the 1st time held on Wednesday at BU campus.
Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu was present on the closing ceremony of the program. Engr MA Ghulam Dastagir, secretary, Board of Trustees of BU delivered his welcomed speech while Prof Dr Md Golam Ali Fakir, vice Chancellor in charge of BU, chaired the program.
Dr Shagufta Mahmood, Member, BoT, BU inaugurated the fair.
TP Biswas, Chairman of Limo Group and Member of BoT, BU delivered speeches in the fair.
The minister encouraged the students for their spontaneous presence at the fair. He advised the university students to respect their teachers who speaks, shows, explains and inspires.
He inspired the students by encouraging them to take the opportunity they get at the beginning of their career life.
Among other, representatives from Airtel, Limo, Unique Group, Prothom-alojobs, Elite Group, Globe Soft Drinks, Hamid Group, PRAN, Organic Health Care Ltd. and D16 Pharma & Biotec Ltd took part in the day long fair.
The organizers said that almost five thousand people from different parts of the country would visit the fair.
