Human Resource Development Institute (HRDI) of Daffodil International University (DIU) in association with Career Development Center (CDC) and DIU HR Club jointly organized the event on “HR Career Adda 2018” for the students at 71 Milonayaton of the university recently. Prof Dr Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of DIU had grace the Inaugural Session as the chief guest. Md. Musharrof Hossain, President of Bangladesh Society for Human Resources Management (BSHRM) and FBHRO was the keynote speaker. The program was presided over by Prof Dr Farid A Sobhani, Dean of HRDI, DIU.
The main objective of the carnival was to have an interaction between the HR professionals and university academics, students and graduates concerning HR issues. A total of 150 registered participants including a good number of HR practitioners had attended the program. In this event, the keynote speaker, Md. Musharrof Hossain, President of Bangladesh Society for Human Resources Management (BSHRM) and FBHRO delivered the speech on ‘Career in HR, Develop Your Future’.
A Panel Discussion titled “HR Career Adda” was also organized at the event where Prof Dr FA Sobhani, Dean of HRDI, DIU; AKM Mahmudul Haque, Regional Human Resources Manager, South Asia and Africa at VF Corp; Quazi M. Ahmed, President, BOLD and Vice President of FBHRO; Aparna Barma, SHRM-SCP, People and Culture Manager, Oxfam shared valuable information as the Panel Speakers.
A large number of HR professionals and distinguished guests were present in the program and shared their experiences and opinions in front of the participants. Respected guests and senior officials of the Daffodil International University and other universities were present in the program.
