Chittagong Bureau :A new specialised ‘Cardiac Centre’ inaugurated in Max Hospital & Diagnostic Limited at city’s Mehedibag area on Friday.The newly set up hospital “Max’ added the new facility for the cardiac patients in the port city. ‘Consequently, the hospital would be a milestone for the low income people, people may need not to go abroad for cardiac treatment,” said Liaquat Ali Khan, managing director, Max Hospital & Diagnostic Ltd. A power point presentation was held on the new method of treatment for cardiac patient by Kaisar Nasrullah Khan, consultant and cardiologist, United Hospital, Dhaka. Selim Mohammad Jahangir, Principal, Chittagong Medical College Hospital inaugurated the Cardiac Center as chief guest.
