Chittagong Metropolitan Police authority in a directives prohibited car parking in both sides of GEC circle aimed at resolving the severe traffic congestions .
A directives of the Traffic Department of CMP signed by Deputy Police Commissioner(Traffic) Faruk Ahmed prohibited car parking from GEC circle to Golpahar and GEC to Blossom Garden point .
The directives urged the vehicle owners not to park their vehicles in two sides of the specific areas to avoid any disciplinary actions against the vehicles.
To avoid the severe traffic congestions in the port city, CMP authority also taken a number of decisions over the movement of the transports in main roads of the city and asked the vehicle owners and drivers not to violate the directions of the Traffic police, sources said.
