Captain Moin Ahmed has been accorded reception for being elected as the Director General (DG) of the International Mobile Satellite Organisation (IMSO) for the next four years starting from April 2019.
The Department of Shipping accorded the reception at Dhaka Club in the city on Friday while former Shipping Minster Shajahan Khan addressed the programme as the chief guest, said a press release on Monday. Captain Moin Ahmed was re-elected the DG of IMSO at the 25th assembly of the organisation at its headquarter in London in October, 2018. Earlier, Ahmed as the first Bangladeshi was elected Director General of the international organization in 2015.
