The Dhaka University (DU) authority received Taka 20 lakh donation further to enhance the capital of Kabi Jasimuddin Hall Trust Fund of the university.
Kabi Jasimuddin Hall Provost Professor Dr Md Rahmat Ullah handed over a cheque for Taka 20 lakh recently to DU Treasurer Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin at the Vice-Chancellor (VC) office to enhance the fund’s capital.
VC Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, Dean of the Faculty of Science Prof Dr Md Abdul Aziz, Acting Registrar Md Enamuzzaman and House Tutors of Kabi Jasimuddin Hall were present, among others, on the occasion.
Earlier, Provost of Kabi Jasimuddin Hall handed over another cheque for Taka 30 lakh to DU Treasurer on August 3 to set up this trust fund.
