The long cherished capital dredging work of Karnaphuli River will begin from next after four years.
Chittagong Port Authority will undertake the dredging work through foreign dredging company with the supervision of Bangladesh Navy. The dredging work earmarked from Sadarghat to Bakalia Char area .
This was disclosed by the Port chairman Rear Admiral M Khaled Iqbal at the meeting of service oriented organisations held at city corporation Conference Hall on Wednesday.
