Members of RAB-14 drives and recovered about 160 kgs ounces of cannabis and 667 bottles of Phensidyl from two youths in Bhairab port town of Kishoreganj on sunday morning.
The two arrested are Shahadat Mia and Ujjwal Mia of Amlapara area in Bhairab town.
According to RAB-14 Bhairab camp, Bhairab is a sensitive area for drugs. The Amlapara area is inhabited by drugs. The sale and purchase of drugs has increased ahead of Eid. In this situation, RAB conducted an operation in Amlapara area in Bhairab town. The first raid was on the home of drug dealer Pavel Meyer. Shahadat was arrested from that house. Later, 110 kgs of cannabis and 667;bottles of Phensidyl were recovered from the place shown by him.
