Canadian government is keen on investment based on Public Private Partnership in the communication infrastructure in Bangladesh.
Benoit-Peirre Laramee, Canadian high commissioner in Bangladesh, expressed his country’s interest while calling on Minister for Roads and Bridges Obaidul Quader at his secretariat office Monday.
During the meeting, the minister proposed to Canadian envoy to invest in different PPP based infrastructure projects in the road sector in Bangladesh. In reply, the envoy expressed his country’s interest to make investment in the communication infrastructure development.
Giving priority to the economic partnership between the two countries, Quader expressed the hope that partnership between the two countries for developing potential economic sectors would be strengthened in the future.
