A campaign on “Global Climate Strike” was organised at Friendship Adolescents Club at Nurnagar High School premises at Ward No 16 in the city under the initiative of Jagrata Juba Shangha (JJS), an NGO recently. Members of the local Friendship Adolescents Club participated in the campaign. At the beginning of the workshop, Director of Programmes, JJS, M M. Chishty urges adolescents on the Global Climate Strike issue to identify and implement the field of youth society on the issue of global warming and its impact on the current world. Then Tanjim Siddiquee, Training and Documentation Officer, JJS, Assistant to the workshop, gave a detailed idea to the teenagers on the “Global Climate Strike”. At the end of the campaign the tree planting was conducted at the local Nurnagar school premises.
