The certificate awarding ceremony of a three day-long training workshop on ‘Cell Culture Techniques to encourage intracellular growth of virus for research purpose’ was held at the Centre for Advanced Research in Sciences (CARS) of the University on Thursday.
Organized by the Department of Microbiology of the University of Dhaka under Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP), Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique distributed certificates among the participants as chief guest.
A total of 11 teachers from different public universities including Dhaka University participated in the workshop.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Arefin Siddique in his speech urged the researchers to work hard for discovering new and modern technologies.
