The speakers in a discussion meeting arranged by the Primary Dental Physicians Welfare Cooperative Society called upon the concerned authority to avoid any harassment to the diploma holder dentists until their alternative employment opportunities are created.
 The speakers said the number of degree holder dental surgeon is limited as per existing population of the country and the diploma holder dentists are extending their great role in remote areas of the country to the dental patients.
This was disclosed by the Joint Convenor of Jubo League Farid Mahmud disclosed it while addressing the discussion meeting of the dentists at a local community hall in city as chief guest.
The meeting was told that about 2 lakh diploma dentists are working in the country and they should be recognized as dental physicians after giving short higher training on dental surgery not any harassments without creating the alternative jobs or higher training to them.
 President of the society shamal dasgupta presided over it.
 Former chairman of Palli Department of Chittagong University Prof. Dr. Jinbodhi Bikku, Adv Kamrun Nahar, AN Nazimuddin Annel graced the occasion as special guests.
Advisor of the Society Md. Zia Rahman was the principal speaker on the occasion.
