Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sherif called for speeding up land acquisition process to accelerate government’s development activities resolving legal complexities.
Many of foreign investors returned their funds due to dillydallying in development activities, he said this on Monday while speaking at a meeting of central land allocation committee at the Land Ministry meeting room.
The minister said concerned people in land related works should be more conscious and urged them to work sincerely to shun the slowness in government’s development activities.
State Minister for Land Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, Senior Secretary of Land Ministry Mesbah Ul Alam, Additional Secretary Akram Hossain and Joint Secretary SM Manirul Islam, among others, joined the meeting.
