Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal called upon all to shun politics of conflict and work together for national development.
“There is no acceptability of the policy of anarchy and arson in politics,” he said this on Friday at a function to inaugurate electrification to 3,183 houses in his Comilla-11 election constituency (Langalkot-Sadar South).
The minister got the new power connections launched formally by Zodda Union BNP leader Shariful Islam as a mark of healthy politics in his election constituency.
Mostafa Kamal said Bangladesh has upgraded to a middle-income country before the stipulated time. “Changes in politics are required to get benefits from this,” he added.
The minister said clashes and conflicts of the past days must be shunned and all would have to do healthy politics in a planned way. In the function, new power connections were given to 20 villages. The people in remote villages were delighted getting power connections to their houses.
