Homoeopathic Medical Association, Chittagong Zila Unit held an emergency meeting at its office at Puratan Girja Premises recently.
Presided over by President of the organisation Adv. Dr. Md. Samiuddin , it was coordinated by Secretary Dr. Shamsuddin. In the meeting Chief Advisor of the organization Principal Dr. Abdul Karim was the Chief Guest. Speakers were Dr. Mubinul Haq, Dr. Ismail Chowdhury, Dr. Lokman, Dr. Maimudul Haq Parvez, Dr. S. K. Dev Shajal, Dr. Sagar Chandra Dey, Dr. Mohd Ayyub, Dr. S. M. Yasin Uddin.
In the meeting the speakers drawing the attention of the Deputy Commissioner, Chittagong and Drug Administration said that the homoeopathy doctors may not fall under harassment during the raid. Speakers further said at present issuing of drug licence being stopped how far raid in the shops of homoeo doctors is logical need to be verified.
