Speakers at a human chain yesterday vowed to take forward the country’s advancement under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and resist the evil design of creating instability in the country by a vested quarter.
A vested quarter is out to create instability in the country through an evil design and they are engaged in secret killings and bomb blasts in different places to execute their plot . So, the countrymen irrespective of classes and professions will have to remain alert against it, they told the participants at the human chain.
The Association of Bangladesh Upazila Parishad staged the human chain titled “Strengthen the hands of Jana Netri Sheikh Hasina to resist the ill efforts to create instability in the country” in front of the Jatiya Press Club here yesterday morning.
Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan attended the function as the chief guest, while Chairman of the association and Kazipur Upazila Chairman Principal Md Mozammel Haque Sarkar (Bakul) presided.
Vice Presidents of the association Naria Upazila Chairman AKM Ismail Haque and Amtali Upazila Chairman GM Delwar Hossain, General Secretary and Comilla Sadar South Upazila Chairman Golam Sarwar, Organizing Secretary and Gosairhat Upazila Chairman Syed Nasir uddin, Publicity and Publication Secretary and Dashmina Upazila Chairman Md Shakhwat Hossain and Finance Secretary and Meghna Upazila Chairman Md Abdus Salam spoke on the occasion, while Md Rafiqul Islam Shikdar recited a poem on the occasion.
