The National Public Service Day was observed in Kishoreganj in a befitting manner with a call to provide department services to the people through innovation ideas on Sunday.
Kishoreganj District Administration organised a fair, pestering, and duscussion meeting on the future in now: Accelerating Publc Service Innovation for Agenda- 2030 at Local Old Stadium on Sunday morning with Deputy Commissioner Md. Azimuddin Biswas in the chair.
It was addressed among others by Deputy Secretary of Local Government Zahirul Islam, ADC (General & D.S) Torafder Md. Akhter Jamil, Civil Surgeon Dr. Habibur Rahman, ADC (Revenue) Monuarul Islam Patuary, Deputy Director of Agriculture Md. Shafiqul Islam, Social Service Deputy Director Robiul Islam, Principal Professor (Retd.) Rafiqul Islam Khan, Freedom Fighter Abdul Mannan, Sonak President Saiful Hoque Mollah Dulu, Women Leaders Bilkis Begum, DPO Sazzat Hossain, Senior Megistrate Abul Hasem, and Sadar UNO Abdullah-al-Masud.

Marking the day, a discussion meeting was held at Deputy Commissioner (DC)’s conference room with DC Dr Subash Chandra Biswas in the chair.
Chief Executive of Zila Parishad Siddiqur Rahman delivered the welcome speech while additional deputy commissioner (General) ANM Faizul Hoque presented the keynote paper.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Hasibul Alam, District Fisheries Officer Mohammad Tofaj Uddin Ahmed, Principal of Zonal Co-operative Institute Hari Das Thakur, Chairman of Shibpur Upazila Parishad Ariful Islam Mirdha and President of Narsingdi Press club Morshed Shariar spoke on the occasion.
