President of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mahbubul Alam called upon the scheduled banks to lend entrepreneurs loan upto Tk.10 lakh without any mortgage aimed at expanding the trade promotions and creation of new entrepreneurs in the country.
He disclosed it while addressing the inauguration ceremony of new branch of Bangladesh commerce Bank at Chaktai recently.
Chamber president also called upon the banks to provide loans to the bonafide businessmen with simple interest . He said Chaktai-Khatungonj is the only commercial hub for wholesale market since long. Among others , Chief Executive of BCBL and Manging Director Abu Sadek Md. Sohel , Executive vice president Sagir Ahmed and the branch managers of Chittagong Zone were present on the occasion.
