Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique said photography is a very powerful medium as it always tells the truth.
“Photography always tells the truth. But photography is being abused in different ways. It should be stopped,” he said.
The Vice-Chancellor said this on Friday while addressing as the chief guest at the BPS-IFIC Bank 13th National Photography Competition and Exhibition at Shilpakala Academy’s National Art Gallery.
Bangladesh Photographic Society and Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy organized the programme. Managing Director and CEO of IFIC Bank Shah A Sarwar spoke it as the special guest with Bangladesh Photographic Society President Mohammad Mujibur Rahman in the chair.
