Education Secretary Nazrul Islam Khan called for increasing number of researchers for the country’s overall development.
He said this on Saturday while speaking as the chief guest at a workshop for teachers in Jessore.He said “Crowd sourcing, co-creation, virtual learning, support center, cross discipline and open education resources would be given importance for professional development of teachers.”
The two-day workshop is being held at Jessore Teachers Training College auditorium to give CPD training to teachers teaching at the intermediate level in colleges and madrasas under Teaching Quality Improvement -2 project.
Presided over by Jessore Teachers Training College Principal Swapan Kumar Dhali, the inaugural session of the workshop was addressed by Project Director Banomali Bhoumik as special guest.
