The divisional conference of BAHOP as arranged by the Sylhet district unit was held on February 8 last at Sylhet Zila Parishad hall with Dr. Birendra Chandra Dev in the chair. President of the central committee of BAHOP , Principal Dr. Abdul Karim graced the occasion as chief guest.
Central vice president Dr. KM Alauddin inaugurated the conference as inaugurator duly moderated by Dr. Dilip Kumar Das , Asstt. General secretary of sylhet district unit. Keynote paper on homoeo science seminar presented by Dr. KM Alauddin. Prof.dr. Parimal Dev was the chief discussant and Dr.Md. Abdul Hannan chowdhury as discussant.
Thespeakers in the conference demanded appointment of Homoeo physician each at 18 thousand govt community clinics side by side allopathic physician. The conference also called on concerned authority to undertake effective measures through inclusion of fund in the national budget for the development of homoeo mediczre services.
They also demanded establishment one Degree Homoeopathic Medical college in each divisional headquarters of the country. In second session of the conference, chief guest and chief editor and Publisher of Homoeo Chetona Principal Dr. AbdulKarim addressed the conferenence.
Central secretary general of BAHOP Dr.Anjam Kumr Das also spoke on the occasion as special guest among others. Five homoeo physicians of sylhet division have been awarded with Honeyman Honourary Award , BAHOP Chattogram divisional office sources said.
