A day-long view-exchange meeting on the Right to Information Act for ensuring education for all was held at the conference room of LGED office in Narsingdi on Saturday.
Campaign for Popular Education (CAMPE) and Mother’s Development Society (MDS) jointly organized the meeting.
Deputy Secretary, Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division, Ministry of Law and Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Rafiqul Islam, Additional Deputy Commissioner Suriaya Begum, Additional Police Super Mohammad Shanawaz Khaled were present in the meeting.
Prof Golam Mostafa Miah, former Principal of Narsingdi Government College, presided over the meeting.
Mostafizur Rahman, Programme Manager, Policy Advocacy and Mass Communication unit, CAMPE, presented the key note paper.
It was addressed, among others, by District Women Affair’s officer Syada Masuda Islam, Upazila Education officer, Narsingdi Sadar, Abdul Jalil Hawlader, Chairman of Chinishpur union parishad Nuruzzaman and Salam Rana, coordinator of MDS.
