Officials and experts here called for ensuring adolescent friendly atmosphere in the society so that the adolescents can avail the scopes of flourishing their latent talents properly.
They opined that the adolescents need care, affection and need-based health related knowledge including the reproductive health for their proper physical and mental grooming.
They made the observation while addressing a post-rally discussion to mark the celebration of ‘Koisorer Joygan Programme’ at Shishu Academy premises in Rajshahi Saturday.
Rajshahi Centre of Bangladesh Betar organized the programme on the occasion of observing Multi-sectoral media programme to flourish the prospects of juvenile boys and girls.
Commissioner of Rajshahi division Nur-Ur-Rahman addressed the discussion as chief guest with Regional Director of Bangladesh Betar Hassan Akhter in the chair.

Nazibullah Hameem and Programme Officers Dewan Abul Bashar and Navisha Kabir
also spoke.
Nur-Ur-Rahman said the adolescent age from 13 to 19 is very important for the boys and girls as they feel physical and mental change during this period.
He added that ensuring youth-friendly healthcare services to the teens are essential for enriching their knowledge about reproductive health.
He mentioned that creating awareness about the bad effects of child marriage is noticeable.
