Affairs Shahriar Alam urged the officials of the local administration to perform their duties with utmost sincerity and honesty for proper and successful implementation of the development projects undertaken by the government. He also stressed the need for making all the civic services free from corruption and harassment.
He was sharing views with divisional and district level officials at Rajshahi circuit house conference hall. Sounding a note of warning against corruption, the state minister urged the officials to stand against the corruption. He also asked the officials concerned to take punitive and effective measures against trafficking, marketing and addiction of drugs. “We have to show zero tolerance against drug addiction”, he added.
With Deputy Commissioner Mejbah Uddin Chowdhury in the chair, Superintendent of Police Alamgir Kabir also spoke on the occasion.
