Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain urged the engineers and others concerned to complete the development projects within the stipulated timeframe maintaining standard of work.
“The standard of work will have to be ensured and the monitoring system will have to be strengthened…The work standard won’t be better if the engineers don’t supervise properly,” he said this on Wednesday while speaking at the Annual Conference 2017-18 of the Department of Public Works to evaluate the progress report of its development projects.
Secretary of the Housing and Public Works Ministry Md Shahid Ullha Khandaker and Department of Architect Chief Engineer Kazi Golam Nasir addressed the conference as special guests while Department of Public Works Chief Engineer Mohammad Rafiqul Islam was in the chair.
Mosharraf said the engineers and the officials concerned should work properly and ensure the stander of the works.
