Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan on Thursday directed the authorities concerned to complete all development projects under the ministry within the stimulated timeframe.
The minister made the directive at a function to sign annual performance agreements with the 11 directorates and organizations under the ministry for 2017-2108 fiscal year at the ministry office.
Shipping Ministry Secretary Ashok Madhab Roy signed and heads of 11 organizations signed the agreements on behalf of their respective sides.
The 11 organizations are: Chittagong Port Authority, Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority, Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation, Bangladesh Land Port Authority, Mongla Port Authority, Department of Shipping, National River Protection Commission, Bangladesh Shipping Corporation, Bangladesh Marine Academy, National Maritime Institute and Payra Port Authority.
