Call to build non-communal Bangladesh

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal urged all to give their utmost efforts to build a non-communal, hunger and poverty-free Bangladesh imbued with the spirit and devotion of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
“Bangabandhu is a name, Bangabandhu is a country, Bangabandhu is a dream, Bangabandhu is our soul…..Bangabandhu could never die. Let us, transform the shock of loosing Bangabandhu into a strong force….let us build the Golden Bangladesh as dreamt by Bangabandhu,” he said.
The minister said this while addressing a discussion marking the 44th Martyrdom Anniversary of Bangabandhu and the National Mourning Day held on Monday at the Finance Division Conference Room at Bangladesh Secretariat here, said a press release.
Organised by the Finance Division and Financial Institution Division Officers and Employees Welfare Association, Senior Secretary of the Financial Institution Division Md Ashadul Islam, Finance Division Secretary Abdur Rauf Talukder and ERD Secretary Monowar Ahmed also spoke ,among others.
The discussion meeting was chaired by President of the Welfare Association M Enamul Haque.
The minister also said Bangabandhu bridges between the present and the future as he had given the nation all sorts of directives for the future despite his small span of life.
Kamal said Bangabandhu had awarded the nation with a constitution side by side he had given the future plans for the country.
Bangabandhu also had said there would remain no difference between towns and villages, rich and poor while he had emphasised the involvement of all section of people into the development march of Bangladesh, the finance minister added.
