Assistant Professor of Bangla Department of Jagannath University (JnU) Sharif Siraj and Software Engineers Redwan Islam, Mashrur Anik and Amlan Oitijya made the App aiming to ensure for using of Bangla language in a correct manner.
Urging to reinstate the spirit of Bangla, the VC also hoped that the App “Bangla Bee” will play a vital role in practicing Bangla correctly.
Prof Arefin said, “There was no signboard or billboard which had carried any other languages without Bangla in Bangladesh (East Pakistan) during 1950s and 1960s decades. But now we are yet to ensure use of Bangla language at every step of our life although the High Court already directed in this regard.”
