Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu called upon all irrespective of religions to unite altogether to fight against the communal forces to step forward the country towards development.
“Like the past, we would have to fight together against the communal force in the days to come for overall development of the country,” he said this on Friday while addressing as the chief guest at biennial conference of Mahanagar Puja Committee at Dhakeshwari National Temple here.
“Awami League (AL) was in favour of minority communities while BNP-Jamaat clique attacked them in 2001 like the 1971. AL is still in favor of the community and it will do everything to recover the already occupied land of Dhakeshwari Temple,” said Amu, also a member of AL advisory committee. Speaking at the conference, Food Minsiter Advocate Qamrul Islam said, “BNP has no organizational capacity to raise movement despite they have been issuing threats.”
