Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sherif asked the authority concerned to allot government homestead and khas land among real homeless or landless people with the attitude of serving the people.
The minister made the call on Thursday while addressing a meeting to review the progress of the implementation of Annual Development Program of 2014-15 at the ministry.
Additional secretary Akram Husain, joint secretaries Punyabrata Choudhury, AUSM Saifullah, project director of Cluster Village Project Sirajuddin Ahmed were present at the meeting, among others.
