Secretary of the Prime Minister’s office Sazzadul Hasan here on Wednesday called upon the students to acquire quality education for making them as enlightened and worthy citizens of the country.
“You should acquire quality education to flourish talents of you and enlighten you for building up you as “worthy citizen” of the country to steering the nation towards progress and prosperity” he said adding that the present government under the dynamic leadership of prime minister Sheikh Hasina has been putting it’s best and sincere efforts for spreading the light quality education across the country.
The PMO Secretary came up with the remarks while he was distributing stipend money as chief guest among the local meritorious students of different government higher educational institutions at Netrakona Public Hall here on Wednesday .
Netrakona Foundation organised the function for distributing stipend money amounting taka 16 lakhs among the 400 government university -level poor and meritorious students of the district.
Chaired by Deputy Commissioner Netrakona Main-UL-Islam, the function was addressed, among others, by prominent writer and Ekushey Padak recipient professor Jatin sarker, chairman of Netrakona Zila Parishad Prasanta Kumar Ray, Chairman of Netrakona Sadar Upazila Parishad Prof Tapsiruddin Khan and Mayor of Netrakona pourasava Nazrul Islam Khan.
