A day-long pitha (Cake) festival was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia with great festivity on Thursday.
The rice cake festival was organized by the students of Accounting and Information System department on the premises of the university central Gymnasium around 11 am.
Prof Dr Abu Sina, Dean of Business Administration faculty inaugurated the festival as the chief guest while chairman of the Accounting and Information System department Prof Dr Shelina Nasrin, chairman of the Management department Prof Dr M Mahbubul Arefin, various departments’ teachers-students, among others, were also present.
The students of the department displayed various kinds of pitha (rice cake) in the festival.
