Cai Jianbo, CEO of UnionPay International and Anis A Khan, Managing Director of Mutual Trust Bank Ltd, sign an agreement at the head office of UnionPay in China. Mohammad Anwar Hossain, EVP and Head of Cards of the Bank and senior officials of UnionPay were also present at the signing ceremony. Under the agreement, MTB will issue UnionPay debit and credit cards (both contact and contactless) as the first private commercial bank in Bangladesh.
