Cabinet Secretary of Bangladesh Khandaker Anwarul Islam inspected the development works, Cantonment construction at Mitamoion , a haor-inhabited upazila of Kishoreganj on Wednesday afternoon.
Cantonment work is underway on 265 acres of land in Mitamoion of Kishoreganj. During the visit, the officials of the bridge department briefed the Cabinet Secretary about the design of the flyover at Haor and other related development plans.
At this time, among others, the quarter headquarters of the Army Headquarters , Lieutenant General. Saiful Alam, President’s Sr. Secretary (Bangabhaban) Sampadak Barua, Secretary of Road Transport and Bridges Ministry Manzoor Hossain, Military Secretary to the President Major General SM Salahuddin Islam, Former Information Secretary Kamrun Nahar, DC in Kishoreganj Mohammad Shamim Alam, Sr.SP Mashrukur Rahman Khaled Bpm (Bar), Upazila chairman Asia Alam and others dignified persons were also present.
While inspecting the work of the cantonment under construction, the officials of the bridge department informed him about the design and other plans for the construction of flyover in Haor areas.
Later, they visited Austagram Zero Point and Itna Zero Point on All Weather Road in Haor, Kishoreganj”
