A number of Cabinet members on Monday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Rawshan Rahman Eva, wife of Economic Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister Dr Mashiur Rahman. In separate condolence messages, they prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family. The cabinet members, who condoled the death of Rawshan Rahman, included Agriculture Minister Muhammad Abdur Razzaque, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq, Foreign Affairs Minister AK Abdul Momen, Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim, State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives Shawpan Bhattacharjee, State Minister for Information Dr Md Murad Hassan, State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid and State Minster for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali.
Rawshan passed away on Monday morning at the age of 74 while she was undergoing treatment at a city hospital.
