Chittagong Reporters Unity joined a discussion meeting with Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Mesbah Uddin yesterday.
Deputy Commissioner urged the journalists to help him to remove the corruption from the various sectors of Government.
He also said, the land office that was very much corrupted but now people are getting benefit and urged them to create awareness on land dispute. He assured the journalists to remove corruption by the help of media persons. The Deputy Commissioner also urged the journalists community to highlight the corruption and other irregularities.
President of the CRU Kiron Sarma thanked the Deputy Commissioner for taking this initiatives. Among others, present in the meeting Vice-President Arifur Rahman Hasnain ,Joint Secretary Alamgir Noor, Finance Secretary Nazrul Islam,Organizing Secretary Aminul Hoque Shahin,Publicity Secretary Riazur Rahman Riaz, Asst. Publicity Secretary Anupam Barua and AHM Kawsar.
