Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC), the country’s first leadership institute, has offered its employees the option to work from home from Thursday.
The institute promises to take further measures to ensure physical and mental wellbeing of its employees during the Coronavirus pandemic, said a press release.
BYLC has also cancelled all its physical classes and programmes till April 16.
However, students interested in taking BYLC courses can avail them from BYLCx, the institute’s online education platform.
In addition, a no-visitor policy will be enforced at BYLC from March 22 till March 31 to limit the spread of the virus and ensure the safety of the employees who decided to work from the office premises.
BYLC’s People Development team will also work to provide counselling to any of its staff who needs support during this period.
“We also have a separate taskforce consisting of some of our employees who will stay on top of the current situation and develop BYLC’s response to the crisis,” stated Ejaj Ahmad, founder and president of BYLC.
